Radio Spectacular

The dynamic duo like to have fun and their personalities come across in their upbeat electro-pop tunes. In 2009, the band’s song ‘You Light Me Up’ was chosen to represent Canon’s IXUS cameras, blasting Radio Spectacular!!! into the homes of millions. The band records all their material in their spare-room studio and their latest offering Sugar Baby, Honey Child is now out.

Red Apparition

Laying the foundation for this swelling sound, Jordan and Stuart bring an experience and musical bond that has developed through several years of collaboration. Jordan’s guitar work oscillates in warm tones under Stu’s smoky melodies, which reveal a vocal maturity that seems beyond this band’s history. There is little doubt that this foursome will capture your imagination.

Hightime

Early 2009 saw four friends come together to write and record some of the most fun, heartdriven and diverse music that punk rock has heard in quite some time. Drawing influence from the greater world of music, the band have managed to create a style that meets many different genres, without steering away from their punk rooted driving force.

Pimpin’ Horus

From the band: “We play funk rock music. None of that new-fangled poseur “funk”, we play the real stuff. The good stuff. We’re talking ‘bout that old-school, syncopated funk/rock sound, baby, inspired by the likes of Hendrix, The Meters, P-Funk, the Chili Peppers and The Cruel Sea.”

Son of Dad

Son of Dad create music fitting with the ska-reggae-punk ideology. Currently in the process of recording their first single Die On My Feet and pre-planning for a full length album in 2011, Son of Dad are firmly cementing their role as yet another Adelaide band that is more than overstaying their welcome.
