The Leitmotif

The Leitmotif formed in 2010 and after recording an EP started playing live in October, securing the supports slot for four interstate bands. The band uses a collection of guitars, drums, synthesizers and sample-pads to create a show that explores the boundaries of indie-rock.

Alternative British-ish pop/rock would be the simplest way to describe Semi-Normal. Having recently released their debut album ‘Half Open Minds’ the four piece from Adelaide have been taking great strides, becoming a fully rounded outfit both in the studio and on stage.

Tracksuit

Tracksuit are a high energy rock band from Perth. Playing a mixture of swinging, shaking, shimmying Rock & Roll. Steve (guitar/vox) Andres (bass) and Jay (drums) have supported British India, Yves Klein Blue, MTV kickstart finalists in 2008, and have rocked a triple j one night stand after party!

Blackchords

After the release of their highly acclaimed debut album in 2009, Blackchords have been building their profile both in Australia and in the UK with tours and showcases at The Great Escape Festival & Liverpool Sound City in the UK, One Movement Perth and tours around OZ in 2010. The band capped off the year, opening for Powderfinger at the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne and are currently writing & recording their sophomore album to be released mid 2011.
