Dexter Jones
Dexter Jones is a four piece indie rock act from Adelaide, Australia. Their indie pop rock sound is derived from a wide range of musical styles. The band has chosen not to follow any one system or philosophy in their song writing. Dexter Jones like their big harmonies, catchy riffs and sing-along choruses.
The Sun and the Sky
Put The Killers in a blender with New Order, infuse a bit of Depeche Mode, add a shot of Chris Martin and you’ve got The Sun and the Sky; a complex, tasty, synth-pop-rock band. Live, the band drives anthem beats into a melodic bed of synth and guitar, with lyrics that make you feel like things might just turn out alright after all.
The Paper Scissors
The Paper Scissors have gone from party band du jour, to now being one of the solid forces in Australian music. In 2009 they went quiet while writing their second album, with a couple of one off singles hinting at their shifts and progress. They have just finished putting the finishing touches on ‘In Loving Memory Of’.
